Welcome to Rare Finance, a pioneering Tomb fork offering dual protocols pegged to USDC and BASED on Fantom Opera via seigniorage.

Who Are We?

The origins of Rare Finance ("RARE") were inspired by the continued success of seigniorage protocols offering innovative use cases to the broader Fantom ecosystem. Namely, the team behind RARE includes zealous supporters (and investors) of Tomb Finance ("TOMB") and its recent partner โ€“ the new, up-and-coming Based Finance ("BASED").
Observing that the market for seigniorage protocols pegged to FTM has become quite overly-saturated with new Tomb forks emerging daily, we wanted to add an interesting spin similar to the effect of BASED. BASED currently supports the TOMB ecosystem by bolstering its peg token with buy pressure and liquidity growth via the BASED-TOMB LP. To mirror such beneficial impacts in the same vein, we wanted to add an additional layer to this symbiotic relationship by creating a protocol that supports the protocol that supports TOMB.
Update: A few days into initial launch with the BASED peg, we experienced one of the most drastic market downturns of all time which reflected across our initial tokens. Therefore, we were inspired to create a second in-house protocol pegged to USDC, which will attract untapped markets of dry powder while offering investors stability alongside a smart APR system. Soon enough, with liquidity growth, investors will be able to seamlessly play and bridge through both protocols.
The RARE protocol's underlying mechanisms dynamically adjust RARER and RARE supply, trading their prices up or down relative to the price of USDC and BASED, respectively.
Our dual protocol consists of the following tokens:
  • RARE ($RARE)
  • RARE Shares ($RSHARE)
  • RARER ($RARER)
  • RAREST Shares ($RAREST)
**TO CLARIFY FOR NEW INVESTORS... the newer protocol isn't to replace the old protocol. The greater intent is to create a synergistic combo that will create two long-term printers, side by side.**
